How agents read and verify a host's domain over VRP and MCP.
Found by agents
HemmaBo keeps your domain and site machine-readable. Agents reach you via connector-free protocol or MCP tools.
Connector-free (web + protocol)
For agents without an MCP plugin. The agent reads your domain: /llms.txt, /.well-known/vacation-rental.json, /.well-known/agent-traversal.json. One fetch can run discover → verify keys → signed offer → the guest’s booking link on the host domain. No connector required.
MCP (tool calls)
For agents with MCP support. MCP server with 6 tools: match a stay request to host domains (match or no match), verify VRP, onboarding.
VRP – the open protocol behind direct bookings
HemmaBo is built on Vacation Rental Protocol (VRP), an open protocol for verified direct-booking offers from the host's own domain.
What syncs from your node
To every connected channel, automatically:
- calendar and bookings
- blocked nights and buffer nights before and after
- nightly price per date
- minimum and maximum nights
- booking window
You change all of this in the node, never in the channel. Set in each channel, not in the node: check-in and check-out times, cancellation rules, fees.
What is a VRP vacation rental?
A VRP vacation rental is a holiday home whose host runs its own booking site on its own domain and publishes stay offers signed by that domain under the Vacation Rental Protocol (VRP). Any guest or AI agent can check, over plain HTTPS, that the price, the dates and the conditions come from the host — with no listing site, catalog or connector in between.
HemmaBo is software that makes a host's home a VRP vacation rental: the booking site on the host's own domain, the signed stay offers, and payment straight to the host.
